High-Performance Surfactant for Droplet Microfluidics

008-FluoroSurfactant is a high-performance surfactant developed by RAN Biotechnologies for the generation of highly monodisperse and stable microdroplets.

Optimized for demanding workflows such as droplet digital PCR (ddPCR), single-cell analysis, and microfluidic cell culture, it enables reliable droplet generation and long-term emulsion stability.

008-FluoroSurfactant comes diluted at 2 wt% in compatible fluorinated oils (FO-101 or HFE-7500). Depending on the application, it can be used directly at a 2% concentration. However, for other applications, this concentration can be reduced to 0,5% or 1%. Fluigent provides pure FO-101 oil, developed by RAN Biotechnologies, for such dilutions.

When combined with Fluigent flow controllers, it enables reliable and reproducible droplet production across a wide size range.
