Sina Naserian from Inserm U1197

Our team (Inserm U1197) is localized at Paul Brousse hospital in Villejuif, France.
We are focused on regenerative medicine and tissue engineering sciences. We study the regenerative and immunological properties of stem cells like endothelial colony-forming cells (ECFCs) and mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) to treat different degenerative disorders or to create bio-artificial organs.
Due to clotting, blood-based extracorporeal membrane technology has a limited lifespan. Thanks to Fluigent microfluidic device, we designed and evaluated a new microfluidic device for blood oxygenation. This oxygenator has a large gas exchange surface area and can enable long-term sustained endothelialization of blood micro vessels.
